Minister of Labor in the caretaker government, Mustafa Bayram, emphasized the "necessity of preserving national gains and the diverse national fabric in Lebanon, under the care of a state for all Lebanese." He pointed out that "the resistance in Lebanon has added an essential pillar to this country, which is empowerment."
During a mourning assembly held by Hezbollah in Biakout - northern Metn, Bayram stated: "The resistance in Lebanon, in addition to its culture and tourism, has brought the concept of empowerment, because we are in a time when the weak are not respected. Because we are strong, international representatives come to the doors of Lebanon, which is no longer easy prey."
He questioned: "Were we supposed to wait for our enemy, who has never stopped attacking us, to come and slaughter our children as they do in Gaza? And should we be sheep in the pen of this international community, waiting for the Zionist butcher to slaughter us in front of their eyes?" He concluded: "The sacrifices of the martyrs and the Lebanese resistant community, who raised the banner of Ashura sacrifice, redemption, and justice, have enabled Lebanon to endure and empower itself."
