French President Emmanuel Macron ruled out resigning from his position before the end of his term on Tuesday. This was his first statement following the elections held in early July, where he acknowledged his party's loss in the elections but refrained from commenting on the leftist coalition's proposal for appointing a new Prime Minister. In a television interview with France 2, Macron stated that his government, which is nearing the end of its term, will continue to focus on the upcoming Olympic Games during its caretaker period until mid-August. After that, he plans to look for a new Prime Minister. Macron also affirmed that he "strongly disagrees with Benjamin Netanyahu" but that the Israeli Prime Minister would be welcome to attend the Olympic opening ceremony in Paris if he wishes.
