A man has sued the Museum of Ice Cream in New York City, claiming he was injured while jumping into a "sprinkles" pool. The plaintiff, Jeremy Shore, filed his lawsuit on Wednesday in Manhattan state court, stating that he visited the museum in Soho with his daughter on March 31, 2023, and suffered "serious and permanent personal injuries" when he jumped into the large sprinkles pool. He asserts that the facility was negligent for not warning visitors that jumping into the pool was unsafe. The lawsuit highlights that the Museum of Ice Cream, which has four locations in the United States, encourages customers to jump into the pool through its advertising and promotional materials, "creating a reasonable but incorrect expectation that this activity is safe."
