Nahra Requests State Security to Issue Warnings to Illegal Syrians

The Governor of North Lebanon, Judge Ramzi Nahra, has asked the regional director of State Security in the north to issue a warning to illegal Syrians in the town of Rashaina in the Zgharta district, following the expiration of the deadline given to them to leave the town. This request is based on a decision issued by the Rashaina Municipal Council and a letter sent to the Zgharta District Chief, who in turn forwarded the letter to Nahra for review and to instruct the necessary parties to send security reinforcements. This action aims to evacuate the town and close the residences occupied by illegal Syrians within ten days from the date of notification. The text of the municipality's letter stated: "Subject: Request for Security Reinforcement. Referring to our previous letter No. 2024/83 and as the security forces have notified the Syrians required to evacuate, and after the expiration of the given deadline, the Rashaina Municipality has conducted inspections again and found that some have left their residences, while others have not departed, with about ten families remaining in the neighborhoods of Beit Al-Ghareeb and Beit Shama. Please kindly instruct the necessary parties to send security reinforcements along with the municipal police to carry out the evacuation."
