Drone Attack on International Coalition Base in Syria

An American official reported today, Saturday, that U.S. forces in Syria were attacked by a drone, but initial reports indicate that there were no injuries as a result. The official stated, "Initial reports do not indicate any injuries, but medical evaluations are ongoing. We are currently assessing the damage." The "Syrian Observatory" reported that a drone targeted the "Kharab al-Jir" base belonging to the "International Coalition" in the Rmeilan area of the Hasakah countryside, eastern Syria. The observatory mentioned that the "assault" drone fell at the "Kharab al-Jir" base. It added that the base was targeted after American helicopters flew in the area.
