Macron Spoke to Netanyahu to Prevent Escalation on the Lebanon Front

The French presidency stated that "President Emmanuel Macron spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday as part of Paris's efforts to prevent a wider escalation between Israel and Hezbollah." The presidency added in a statement on Sunday that Macron reminded Netanyahu that France is fully committed to making "every possible effort to avoid a new escalation in the region by conveying messages to all parties involved in the conflict."
