Minister of Foreign Affairs in the caretaker government, Abdullah Bou Habib, revealed that "Hezbollah is ready to withdraw beyond the Litani if Israel stops its violations," emphasizing that "Israel should think carefully before striking Lebanon." In an interview with Al-Hadath channel, he clarified that "the damage will affect Israel and the region in the event of war, and it is not in the interest of Israel or Lebanon to have a large-scale war between the two parties.” He stressed that Hezbollah will stand by the state and will defend Lebanon. Bou Habib added that "Washington is against escalation while continuing its military support for Israel," asserting that "any war on Lebanon is a war against all Lebanese."
