Two individuals have died in Kuwait today, Friday, following the collapse of a government building that is still under construction, according to local media reports. The Kuwaiti newspaper "Al-Anbaa" stated that the deceased were expatriates, one born in 1988 and the other in 1985, noting that relevant authorities have moved to inspect the site and determine the cause of the collapse. An security source clarified that the Ministry of Interior was notified of the incident around 7 AM, revealing that the expatriates were engaged in construction work when a wall fell on them. It is noteworthy that Kuwaiti authorities had ended the contracts of 9,000 expatriates during the first three months of last year, at a rate of 3,000 expatriates every 30 days, according to Kuwaiti security sources.
