The UAE mixed martial arts team has won 3 new medals at the World Mixed Martial Arts Championship for juniors, currently taking place at the "Mubadala Arena" in Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi, which will continue until August 10. The event is under the patronage of Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi. The medals were won by Saif Al Bloushi, who secured gold in the 40 kg category, and Ali Mohammed Al Najjar, who won bronze in the same weight class, while Aisha Al Hamadi earned bronze in the 62 kg category. With these results, the UAE team has increased its total to 9 medals by the end of the third day of competition.
