Death of Two Egyptian Young Men and Injury of Another at the Yemen-Saudi Border

Egyptian media reported, citing sources, that two young Egyptian men were killed and another person injured during an attempt to illegally cross the Yemen-Saudi border. The reports noted that, according to a source close to one of the victims, "the two young men were killed and another person was injured while trying to cross the Yemen border illegally, as border guards immediately responded by opening fire."

It was added that the incident resulted in the immediate death of the two Egyptian young men: Hashem Reda from the city of Mansoura in Dahyya Governorate, and Mustafa Abdel Ghani Sultan from Beheira Governorate. The first was buried by soldiers on the border, while the second's body is currently at a government hospital awaiting burial procedures to be completed.

Additionally, it was mentioned that a young man named Sherif Nabil from Sharqia Governorate, who is currently hospitalized for medical care, was injured during the incident. Egyptian authorities have not yet provided any details about the incident or who is responsible for it.
