The British government stated in a statement today, Thursday, that new Prime Minister Keir Starmer discussed with U.S. President Joe Biden the aspirations for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the release of hostages, and the entry of humanitarian aid. The statement added that Biden and Starmer also discussed the crisis in Ukraine during a meeting at the White House on Wednesday.
