Drug Dealer Arrested in the Act by Information Branch

A statement was issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division: "Information was received by the Information Branch about a person dealing drugs in the Bir Hassan area and its surroundings. As a result of investigations and surveillance, the branch managed to identify him as A. Sh. (born in 1997, Palestinian). On June 13, 2024, after observation, a patrol from the branch was able to apprehend him in the act while he was promoting drugs in the vicinity of the Kuwaiti embassy, riding a black motorbike, which was seized. He was found in possession of various types of narcotic substances, divided into envelopes, boxes, and plastic containers, prepared for distribution. During the investigation, he confessed to the charges against him regarding the distribution and promotion of drugs in the following areas: Bir Hassan, the Kuwaiti embassy, and the entrance to Sabra, in exchange for receiving $30 US dollars per day. He also admitted to consuming drugs. Legal measures were taken against him, and he was placed with the seized items under the relevant authorities, based on the directives of the competent judiciary."
