Air Transport Union: No Weapons or Rockets of

After the British newspaper "Daily Telegraph" reported, citing sources within Beirut Airport, that "Hezbollah" is storing vast quantities of Iranian weapons, rockets, and explosives at the airport, the Air Transport Union in Lebanon announced that "the news of the existence of weapons and rockets at Beirut Airport is mere fabrications and lies, and we invite the media to come and verify the facts for themselves."

In a statement, the union said, "The Telegraph has informed us of the existence of weapons and rockets at Beirut Airport without providing any evidence or proof, but rather mere fabrications and lies aimed at endangering Beirut Airport and its workers, all of whom are civilians, as well as the passengers transiting through it, all of whom are also civilians. Therefore, we hold this media outlet, along with those who relay its claims and promote its fabrications, fully responsible for our safety, as workers at Beirut Airport with its entire facilities, including passenger terminal departures, arrivals, aircraft parking, maintenance, and civil air freight. We invite all Lebanese, Arab, and foreign media to come to Beirut Airport with their filming crews and verify the facts for themselves; otherwise, we consider what suspicious media outlets are promoting as incitement to murder us."
