British Prime Minister Keir Starmer indicated today, Monday, that "Britain can improve the Brexit agreement." Starmer stated, "We can achieve a better deal than the poor deal of our exit from the EU." He described the agreement reached by Boris Johnson, who was Prime Minister at the time of Britain's withdrawal from the bloc, as a "poor" deal. Speaking in Belfast during a tour across the UK, Starmer remarked, "We believe we can secure a better agreement than the poor deal designed by Boris Johnson, and we will work towards that." He added that there are many upcoming discussions to enhance trade, research, and defense relations with the EU. However, he noted that those talks began when his chief diplomat made his first foreign visit to Germany, Poland, and Sweden.
