U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken indicated today, Monday, that "everyone must agree to the proposed deal regarding Gaza and not reject it." Blinken stated, "It is time to reach a deal and avoid escalating matters," adding, "This is the best and perhaps the last opportunity to release the hostages and reach an agreement." The U.S. Secretary of State noted that "we have critical efforts to deploy forces and deter any attacks on Israel." He continued, "The talks are at a crucial moment, and Hamas and Israel must not derail the negotiations." Blinken arrived in Tel Aviv yesterday, Sunday, for a visit aimed at intensifying diplomatic pressure to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
