Fatalities and Injuries from Military Helicopter Crash in Alabama

One person was killed and another injured due to the crash of a helicopter at a military base in Alabama, according to military officials. A statement from the U.S. Army indicated that an AH-64 Apache helicopter crashed during routine training at Fort Novosel military base, located approximately 151 kilometers south of Montgomery, the state capital. The statement noted that the incident resulted in the death of a 46-year-old flight instructor, while a trainee pilot was injured and airlifted to the hospital for further evaluation.
