Both "Bayanat," a provider of geospatial technology solutions supported by artificial intelligence, and Al Yah Satellite Communications Company (Yahsat) announced today, Saturday, the successful launch of the first satellites of the ambitious Emirati space program for Earth observation. The companies stated in a press release that the radar satellite with synthetic aperture (SAR) has been launched into low Earth orbit (LEO) in partnership with ICEYE, a leader in operating SAR satellites for Earth observation and related continuous monitoring solutions, supporting efforts to address natural disasters. The successful launch of the SAR satellite owned by Bayanat, in collaboration with Yahsat, marks an important step in the development program for a constellation of satellites in low Earth orbit.
