An airline left dozens of passengers on the airport tarmac in Karnataka, southern India, prompting a reprimand from the Indian aviation regulatory authority. A Go First airline flight — formerly known as Go Air — took off from the airport in Bengaluru, leaving over 50 passengers forgotten in the bus. Reports indicated that the travelers had completed their baggage checks and held boarding passes. The airline stated that it is investigating the incident and apologized to the complaining passengers, but has not yet explained the cause of the confusion. The flight departed from Bengaluru to Delhi while many passengers were still in a bus on the tarmac. The Asian News International agency reported that 53 passengers were later accommodated on another flight, while two others received refunds for their tickets.
