Title: Israeli killed and 9 injured in shooting near Ma'ale Adumim settlement

The Israeli ambulance service announced the death of one Israeli and injuries to nine others in a shooting attack on a highway on the outskirts of Jerusalem, near the Ma'ale Adumim settlement. Eli Bin, the director of "Magen David Adom," earlier revealed that eight people were injured in the shooting attack near the Za'im checkpoint, between Jerusalem and Ma'ale Adumim. He added to Channel 12 that among the victims, three sustained serious injuries, and two others had moderate injuries. The police stated that "three Palestinian gunmen carried out the attack," according to the "Times of Israel." The three opened fire from "automatic weapons" on Israelis who were in vehicles waiting to pass through the checkpoint. Security forces shot two of the gunmen at the scene, while the third initially fled before being shot shortly thereafter. The Israeli police reported the "killing of the attackers near Ma'ale Adumim, who were two Palestinian brothers from Bethlehem."
