Spanish media reports confirmed today that Real Madrid's management is working to finalize an Argentine transfer during the current summer transfer window. According to the Spanish newspaper "AS," the club is progressing well in negotiations to sign Franco Mastantuno, a star from River Plate. The report mentions that Santiago Solari, Real Madrid’s football director, is now leading the negotiations, as he was the first to advise the club’s officials to secure the deal.
It was noted that Solari is negotiating with River Plate and the player and has already reached a favorable agreement with Mastantuno, who only desires to join Real Madrid. The report states that the buyout clause in Mastantuno's contract is 45 million euros, but Solari is currently negotiating to finalize the transfer for just 25 million euros. Additionally, it revealed that Real Madrid officials are not ruling out a scenario similar to the "Endrick formula" for Mastantuno's transfer by signing him now and allowing him to remain with his team in Argentina for another year.
