In Lebanon: Harasser of a Minor Girl Taken into Custody

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division, announced that "as part of the daily follow-up carried out by the specialized units in the Internal Security Forces to combat all types of crimes, information was received about an unidentified individual harassing a minor girl inside a camp for Syrian refugees in the neighborhood of Bbanein, and fleeing to an unknown location. Immediately, the specialized units initiated their field and investigative procedures to identify the perpetrator and apprehend him. As a result of the inquiries and investigations, the Information Division was able to determine his identity as: K. H. (born in 1975, unregistered). After careful surveillance and monitoring, one of the division's patrols arrested him inside one of the camps for Syrian refugees. During the investigation, he confessed to the charges against him. Legal procedures were taken against him, and he was referred to the relevant authority based on the directive of the competent judiciary."
