The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued the following statement today, Wednesday: "As part of the continuous monitoring carried out by the Internal Security Forces to pursue wanted individuals in various Lebanese regions, their specialized units intensified their field and information efforts to determine the whereabouts of these individuals and detain them. As a result of extensive investigations and inquiries, the Information Branch was able to identify the location of one of the wanted individuals for drug-related offenses in the town of Zabdine, who was found to be active in drug trafficking in Nabatieh, identified as M.H. (born in 1989, Lebanese). After a careful observation and surveillance operation, he was arrested by one of the branch's patrols in a well-planned ambush in Zabdine. Upon searching him, a quantity of hashish and a quantity of crystal substance were seized. Legal procedures were taken against him, and he was handed over along with the seized items to the relevant unit based on the directives of the competent judiciary."
