A mystery unfolded for wildlife photographer Roddy Holbrook over two months as he noticed strange occurrences in the ceiling of his home. He observed that items he left out of place were returned to their original spots overnight without any explanation. To uncover the secret behind this phenomenon, Holbrook set up a night vision camera on his work table to see what was happening, capturing footage reminiscent of the animated film "Ratatouille" released in 2007.
The 75-year-old man revealed that he initially noticed some bird food he had placed ending up in old shoes he was storing, prompting him to set up a camera to discover the mystery. The night vision footage showed a mouse collecting corks, screws, and other small items, placing them in a tray on Holbrook's work table, according to a report published by "The Guardian."
Additionally, Holbrook experimented by leaving various objects out to see if the mouse could lift them, and the mouse did not disappoint. It was seen carrying cable ties back to the container. He noted that the mouse organized the objects he had left outside the box and put them back by morning, stating that it did this 99 times out of 100 throughout the night.
It is worth mentioning that a similar incident occurred in 2019 when a widely circulated video showed a mouse storing items in a shed belonging to a man living near Bristol.
