Hezbollah Begins Response to Attack on Dahiyeh

Media outlets close to the Lebanese Hezbollah reported that the party has begun responding to the Israeli attack that targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut. Sources stated that "a swarm of drones is entering from Lebanon towards the western Galilee."

Previously, a Hezbollah official confirmed that the group rejected requests from international envoys to refrain from responding to the Israeli attack, which was anticipated following a missile strike in the occupied Golan Heights.

The official, in statements to the press, mentioned that Hezbollah, which denied involvement in the strike on Saturday that resulted in the deaths of 12 children and adolescents, informed mediators that it would respond to any Israeli attack.

Hours before the attack on the Dahiyeh, Israel urged residents of northern areas to reduce gatherings and limit non-essential activities. The regional council for Golan settlements "requests residents of northern areas to minimize gatherings and restrict non-essential activities until further notice."
