Prince Harry has expressed his fear of taking his American wife Meghan Markle back to Britain, as he believes the danger to her life still exists, according to clips released from a new documentary. The Duke of Sussex, 39, discussed his concerns for his family's safety in a recent interview featured in the ITV documentary titled "Tabloids on Trial," which premiered on July 25. Harry stated, "There is still a risk, and all it takes is one person, someone who reads this stuff to act on it. Whether it’s with a knife or acid, whatever it is, these are things that genuinely concern me. This is one of the reasons that forces me not to bring my wife back to Britain." Neil Basu, the former head of counter-terrorism at the Metropolitan Police, had stated in 2022 that there were real threats to Prince Harry's life while he was in the UK. Basu remarked at that time, "We had teams investigating these threats, and people have been prosecuted because of these threats."
