The Lebanese Minister of Economy and Trade in the caretaker government, Amin Salam, inaugurated the Lebanese pavilion at "Expo Qatar" in the Qatari capital, Doha, on Thursday, in the presence of Qatari Minister of Municipality Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, the Commissioner General of "Expo" Doha 2023 Badr Al-Dhaf, Lebanon's Ambassador to Qatar Farah Bri, and the Commissioner General of the Lebanese pavilion Mohammad Abu Haidar.

After the inauguration, Salam, alongside the organizers of the Lebanese pavilion and accompanying business delegation, welcomed visitors from various Arab and foreign nationalities to the exhibition. This occasion provided an opportunity to exchange views and engage directly with Lebanese expatriates and Arab and foreign business people about issues and matters concerning Lebanon and its citizens.

For his part, Salam expressed gratitude to Qatar, both its leadership and people, for "all the support and care in presenting the Lebanese pavilion at 'Expo’ Doha," and also specifically thanked the Lebanese community for "the efforts put forth that contributed to the noticeable success of this pavilion."

Salam stated, "Thank you, Qatar, for giving the Lebanese product and the Lebanese people, whether farmers, industrialists, or innovators, the opportunity to showcase their best on a global platform among more than 80 countries. In these circumstances, we are in dire need of a positive window, and with your support, we are here."

He was informed by the Commissioner General of "Expo" Doha, Badr Al-Dhaf, that the inauguration of the Lebanese pavilion was one of the most successful and distinguished events at "Expo" Doha.
