Minister of Public Works in the caretaker government, Ali Hamiyeh, announced via the "X" platform that "the administrative teams assigned by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport have completed nearly 75% of the files related to road maintenance in the Metn district, and they have been gradually contracted. Additionally, about 85% of these files are now at the Court of Accounts, according to the legal procedures in place." Hamiyeh noted that "the synergy and cooperation among all relevant administrations and parties will undoubtedly contribute to accelerating the commencement of the necessary maintenance process in Metn and other Lebanese districts from the south to the north, to Baalbek and Mount Lebanon."
