Al-Burhan: The Response to the Rapid Support Forces' Crimes

The Commander of the Sudanese Army, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, confirmed today, Thursday, that the response to the crimes of the "Rapid Support Forces" against the victims of Wad al-Nour will be severe. During his visit to the command of the 18th Infantry Division in Kosti, al-Burhan stated that there will be no negotiation or dialogue with the supporters of the "Support Forces" from the Forward Alliance and the Sudanese Professionals Association, according to a statement issued by the Sudanese Sovereignty Council. The head of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council affirmed, "We have documented videos proving the involvement of a certain Yusuf Ezzat and his initiation of recording 8 statements for the radio and five statements for television to announce the seizure of power, which will soon be disclosed to the public." He added, "We will fight the Rapid Support Forces to the end, even if the last soldier in the armed forces remains."
