Expert Maxim Yefimov from the Department of Nutrition at the Biotechnology University points out that "the craving for fast food is linked to endorphin regulation in the brain." According to him, in addition to this, producers of these foods often add flavor enhancers that alter their taste and create addiction, resulting in an imbalanced diet and additional calorie intake. He notes that the most dangerous spice used in these foods is monosodium glutamate (E621). He states, "This substance is often added to dishes served in fast-food cafeterias, where low-quality foods are masked by spices, leading people to believe they are eating delicious food, when in reality, they are deriving this pleasure from monosodium glutamate, which can lead to obesity, impaired vision, and respiratory issues."
