Owners of drinking water tankers gathered in front of the Hermel Municipality to demand their share of the Ras al-Mal spring water that supplies the city of Hermel, which has been cut off from them. They pointed out that "the number of these tankers exceeds one hundred and they are their only means of securing their livelihood." After the sit-in, a meeting was held at the municipal office, involving them with the Hermel Governor Talal Qattaya and Deputy Mayor Issam Blaybel, who promised to follow up on the matter to resolve this issue.
