"Abu Safiya Al-Iraqi" Captured by Security Forces

The Security Media Cell announced today, Sunday, the arrest of a dangerous ISIS leader known as "Abu Safiya Al-Iraqi" in Anbar. The cell stated in a statement that "the heroes of the Military Intelligence Directorate carried out a special operation that resulted in the capture of a dangerous terrorist who previously worked as the Deputy Wali of the Euphrates Province, known as 'Abu Safiya Al-Iraqi,' in the Al-Rummana district belonging to Anbar Governorate. He is wanted by the Iraqi judiciary according to Article (4 / Terrorism) and has participated in numerous terrorist acts against Iraqi and Syrian security forces in the past." It added that "he has been handed over to the requesting authority in accordance with legal procedures."
