A major shock struck the Egyptian artistic community on Sunday evening with the passing of Egyptian artist Tarek Abdel Aziz, who suffered a sudden heart attack while filming. Tarek Abdel Aziz died at the age of 55, amid great shock from his colleagues, especially as he was participating in the filming of a project before experiencing the sudden crisis. He was taken to the hospital, where he took his last breaths.
In the recent period, there were some indications of the late artist's deteriorating health, as he underwent a second catheterization and had heart stents placed six months ago. At that time, he shared a photo with the medical team following the procedure, assuring everyone that he was in good health.
Several stars from the artistic community expressed their condolences for the departed artist. Mohamed Henedi wrote on his official Facebook page: "The brother, support, and friend of a lifetime... May God have mercy on you, you have broken our hearts. May God grant us patience in your absence... O Allah, have mercy on him with a mercy that encompasses the heavens and the earth... O Allah, make his grave everlasting light that never fades, and grant him safety in Your Paradise."
The late artist appeared in more than 80 artistic works during his career, with his most recent role in the series "A'mal Eih," which aired last year. He was involved in filming a new project set to be released soon before he passed away from the heart attack.
The Actors' Syndicate is making final arrangements regarding the burial and setting the date for condolences, amidst the profound shock felt by everyone.
