Sisi Inquires About Trump’s Health

Today, Tuesday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi made a phone call to the Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, to check on his health. The spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency stated in a release: "President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi made a phone call to former U.S. President Donald Trump to inquire about his health following a shooting incident, wishing him well and reiterating condemnation of all forms of violence, terrorism, and hatred." The statement added: "The President also highlighted the close ties between the two friendly peoples and the depth of the strategic partnership between the two countries, which Trump appreciated, thanking President El-Sisi for the kind gesture." Trump faced an assassination attempt when a gunman shot at him during a campaign rally on July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania. The Republican Party has officially chosen Trump as its candidate for the upcoming presidential elections scheduled for November.
