Scandal at the Olympics: Brazilian Swimmer Reveals She Was Harassed

Brazilian swimmer Ana Carolina has dropped a serious bombshell after being excluded from the Paris 2024 Olympics following a night out with her boyfriend, swimmer Gabriel Santos. She accused the Olympic committee in her country of ignoring her complaints about harassment that she faced in the Olympic village in the French capital before being sent back to Brazil. The Brazilian Olympic committee decided to send Ana Carolina (22 years old) back to her country after she posted a photo on social media with her boyfriend, Gabriel Santos, enjoying the sights of Paris. Brazilian swimming team leader Gustavo Otsuka stated, "We are in Paris to compete for 200 million Brazilian taxpayers, and therefore we did not come here to have fun or to take a vacation." However, the Brazilian swimmer, who appeared in tears in a video she uploaded to her Instagram account, harshly criticized the Brazilian Olympic committee, saying while in Portugal awaiting her flight back to Brazil: "The Olympic committee ignored my harassment complaints. They didn't give me a chance to collect my belongings from the Olympic village; I went to the airport wearing shorts."
