The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, in a message at the International Conference for the Martyrs of the Defense of the Sacred and the Resistance Front in Mashhad, affirmed that "the achievements of the martyrs and what their blood has realized, as well as the victories they have provided us, are always present before us every day." He added: "We stand before blood victorious over the swords of tyrants and oppressors, and our honorable martyrs have achieved both blessings of victory and martyrdom together. We are proud of the martyrs and their sacrifices, and we also take pride in the families of the martyrs who faced the loss of their loved ones with beautiful patience and complete submission to the will of God, being proud of God's choice for these dear ones."
Nasrallah continued: "O most honorable people in all arenas and countries of the Resistance Front, we must realize the magnitude of the achievements and victories that have been accomplished so far, which have accumulated over dozens of years, especially since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran led by Imam Khomeini." He pointed out that "today, what our people in the Gaza Strip and occupied Palestine are offering, with tens of thousands of martyrs and wounded, along with displacement, hunger, siege, and acts of extermination, is supported by the fronts of resistance, especially in Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq."
He added that "these achievements and victories have placed our nation on the path to a great and final victory, which means liberating Palestine from occupation and freeing our entire region from American hegemony and tyranny." He believed that "this final victory requires continued work and jihad without fatigue or weariness, and naturally needs more time, while we must be very confident and assured of God's promise to the sincere believers of victory and triumph."
Nasrallah emphasized that "this victory requires our unity and integration, and no one should waver, weaken, or stop after these sacrifices." He concluded: "We are the oppressed peoples in this region, attacked by the great Satan and the Zionists, and in this time we enjoy a great divine opportunity, namely the blessed Islamic Republic of Iran with its sacred system and its sacrificing people, along with the presence of this wise, brave, and guiding leader, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei."
