Hezbollah announced in a statement today, Wednesday, that "as is now known, the Israeli enemy attacked the southern suburbs of Beirut yesterday, Tuesday, on 30-07-2024, targeting a residential building in one of its neighborhoods, resulting in the martyrdom of several citizens, injuries to others, and significant destruction in several floors of the building. The great jihadist leader, brother Mr. Fuad Shukr (Hajj Mohsen), was present in this building at the time. Civil defense teams have been diligently working to remove the rubble since the incident, but progress is slow due to the condition of the destroyed floors, and we are still awaiting the outcome that the authorities will reach regarding the fate of the great and dear leader and other citizens in this location, so that appropriate measures can be taken."
