The Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, met with several leaders of Emirates Airline and the group, praising the achievements that have established the group as one of the most important Emirati brands, confirming its leadership as an advanced model of high-level aviation services according to the best global standards. During the meeting, bin Rashid commended the strong performance of Emirates Airline and its record results in recent years, highlighting its pivotal role in affirming Dubai's status as a global business hub and a primary destination for investment and tourism. He acknowledged the airline's significant contribution to achieving the objectives of Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33, leveraging its immense capabilities in the air transport industry to expand Dubai's economic corridors, aiming to double the emirate’s foreign trade volume by 2033.

The Vice President listened to an explanation of Emirates Airline’s future plans, as the group is working on several major projects, which include adding more aircraft, a fleet modernization program, enhancing capabilities in hospitality, cargo, and ground handling, and utilizing advanced technologies to support the group's operations. Furthermore, they aim to expand training programs and employee development initiatives, alongside measures to enhance the group’s sustainability agenda. The Vice President expressed his confidence that Emirates Airline would continue to play its role in bolstering Dubai's economic growth and its ability to create new quality standards in the global aviation and travel sector, enhancing its competitiveness among leading airlines worldwide.
