Netanyahu Unfazed by American "Criticism"... Under One Condition!

Netanyahu Unfazed by American

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on the sharp criticisms he faced from the United States on Thursday. He stated on the platform "X" that he is "ready to receive any personal criticism, in exchange for the ammunition that Israel needs from the United States."

The White House issued unprecedented, scathing criticism of Netanyahu on Thursday, following his statements regarding the delay in Washington sending shipments of weapons to Israel. National Security Council spokesman John Kirby considered Netanyahu's remarks this week about the delay in the delivery of American weapons to Israel as "humiliating."

Kirby told reporters that "those statements were extremely disappointing and definitely humiliating for us, given the level of support we provide and will continue to provide." In a video clip in English, Netanyahu stated on Tuesday that it is "incredible" for Washington to have withheld "weapons and munitions" from Israel over the past few months.

The White House confirmed on Thursday that it was not aware that Netanyahu would release a video regarding American weapon shipments to Israel. It regarded Netanyahu's comments as "extremely disappointing and troubling for the United States," adding that his comments concerning American arms supplies were also incorrect.

Kirby clarified that U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan would meet Thursday with Israeli officials to discuss a wide range of issues. The administration of President Joe Biden had halted a shipment of 2,000-pound and 500-pound bombs in May due to concerns about their impact in densely populated areas. However, Israel is still set to receive billions of dollars in American weapons.
