The media department of the Lebanese Forces party stated that "the media of the 'resistance' does not miss an opportunity to attack the Lebanese Forces, based on their national and sovereignty stances, and on their ongoing attempts to undermine every Lebanese voice that poses an obstacle to their project of dominating Lebanon."
In a statement, they said: "The latest example of this is what was reported in the 'Telegraph', which turned out to have large parts that are inaccurate and untrue, where the 'resistance' axis and its deceitful tactics only paused at a segment in which member of the Strong Republic bloc, MP Ghassan Hasbani, expressed general words echoed by most of the Lebanese people, far removed from the details presented in the article."
The media department added: "Instead of the 'resistance' axis responding rationally on how to tackle the problems it has created for Lebanon and the Lebanese due to its wars, arenas, and absurd alliances, and instead of mobilizing to counter the incorrect details mentioned in the British newspaper's report to avert any danger that may threaten Lebanon, it directed its yellow horns to spread venom, lies, and fabrications against the Lebanese Forces and MP Ghassan Hasbani, proving once again that its primary and ultimate goal is to kidnap Lebanon, not to safeguard its security and the safety of its people."
