Romanian player Todor Patin (ranked No. 3) won the men's title, and Russian Maria Masyanskaya (ranked No. 2) secured the women's title at the first international tennis tournament (under 18 category) held under the supervision of the International and Lebanese Tennis Federations on the courts of the Notre Dame University - Louaize (Zouk Mosbeh). The final day of the tournament was a large gathering attended by many, including Dr. Raji Labaki and lawyer Ibrahim Al-Shuwairi, advisors to the Minister of Youth and Sports, Deputy President of the Tennis Federation Hassan Daouk, Secretary General Lin Bashour, Treasurer Desiree Khalifa, Federation member Nahia Abu Khail, Major Dimitri Sakr representing the General Security, Uniq's agent in Lebanon Aref Mardini, Elias Botros representing Notre Dame University, Mirna Sayigh representing the organizers "Patch Makers," and several coaches, players, journalists, and media representatives.
In the women's singles final, Russian Maria Masyanskaya defeated Turkish Zeynep Erbakan (ranked No. 1) in straight sets (7-6)(6-2), officiated by referee Joy Khalil. In the men's final, Romanian Todor Patin triumphed over German Artyom Lyapshin (ranked No. 6) with a score of two sets to one (3-6)(6-4)(6-0), officiated by referee Alex Kattoura.
At the end, a trophy ceremony was held, where tournament director Alan Sayigh delivered a speech thanking everyone who contributed to the tournament's success, including the Lebanese Tennis Federation under Oliver Faisal, Notre Dame University under Father Bashar Khoury, Uniq's agent Aref Mardini, Major Dimitri Sakr, and the company "Patch Makers," as well as the tournament's chief referee Tanios Kanaan, the referees, players, and media personnel. Sayigh invited tennis enthusiasts to attend the second international tournament scheduled to start its 32nd edition on Monday, April 17, at the same courts. For his part, Daouk congratulated the organizers on the tournament's success on all fronts, speaking on behalf of the President and members of the Tennis Federation and mentioning the busy calendar of the Tennis Federation for 2023 with numerous international and local tournaments.
The senior attendees distributed trophies and prizes to the winners. Sayigh also presented several commemorative plaques as tokens of thanks and appreciation. It is noteworthy that the tournament winners earn points to be added to their international junior ranking, with the winner receiving sixty points, the runner-up thirty-six points, and both third and fourth places receiving eighteen points. Additionally, those reaching the quarter-finals receive ten points, while those in the round of 16 earn five points.
