Experts and workers in the tourism sector have announced that Jordan is the preferred tourist destination for Arab families in general and Gulf families in particular, thanks to its rich history, stunning nature, safety and security, as well as the hospitality and generosity of its people, along with their authentic Arab customs and traditions, as reported by the Jordan News Agency (Petra). Experts confirmed to "Petra" that Jordan's continuous efforts to develop the tourism sector and the necessary facilities make it an attractive destination for Arab tourists in particular and foreign tourists in general, especially since Jordan holds a significant tourism position in the hearts of Gulf and Arab citizens. According to "Petra," experts explained that "the primary factor that attracts Arab tourists, especially Gulf tourists, to Jordan is the family-friendly atmosphere, which is the first criterion for Gulf families who consistently choose Jordan for enjoyable times in the Kingdom." Experts emphasized the importance of "focusing on festival and shopping tourism that attract Arab tourism, attracting Arab tour agents, and offering tourism programs that meet family tourism requirements, in addition to the Jordan Tourism Board focusing more on marketing strategies in Arab markets." They pointed out that "intra-Arab tourism is more profitable for tourism income, as Arab tourists tend to stay longer and spend more. Furthermore, the positive effects of intra-Arab tourism enhance ties of brotherhood, cultural and social communication, and increase commercial and industrial cooperation among the people of this one nation, further strengthening the Arab people's unity regarding their national issues."
