Today, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan met with Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide during the visit of the committee assigned by the extraordinary joint Arab and Islamic summit to Oslo, Norway. The meeting reviewed the bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop it in all fields. They also discussed the developments in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings, emphasizing the importance of taking all urgent steps to establish a ceasefire and create the necessary conditions to secure relief corridors for delivering urgent humanitarian, food, and medical assistance to Gaza. The two sides highlighted the importance of creating serious political conditions to achieve a comprehensive and just peace that guarantees the Palestinian people their legitimate rights and contributes to international security and peace. The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Foreign Minister's Office, Abdulrahman Al-Daoud, the Charge d'Affaires of the Saudi Embassy in Norway, Ahmed Al-Harbi, and the advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Manal Radwan.
