The founding body of the Union of Workers in Government Hospitals condemned the Israeli attack on the Mays al-Jabal Government Hospital, stating that it "places this aggression in the black record filled with Zionist crimes since the establishment of this cancerous entity. It sees no way to deter this entity, which is based on blood and aggression, except through the logic of force, iron, and fire. This is what the victorious resistance in Lebanon and the region is doing in dealing with this malignant cancer that must be eradicated from the body of the nation."
In a statement, they called upon free human communities and honorable trade unions to "come to the arena to protect humanity in all its facets from this Israeli tyranny, which has made the extermination of human values a primary focus of its devilish activities. When hospitals, doctors, and emergency teams become targets for those who possess the power of killing and extermination, humanity needs someone to defend it and restore balance to human reason on earth."
They added: "When international and universal laws do not deter the barbaric assaults of the Zionist enemy on hospitals and medical teams, significant questions arise regarding the humanitarian position of those responsible for the organizations and associations that are supposed to implement these laws and protect these regulations."
