Simone Biles "Upset" with Fellow Athletes in Paris

American gymnastics champion Simone Biles revealed her discomfort regarding the time she spends in the Olympic village in Paris due to other athletes. Biles pointed out that the overwhelming attention and the desire of others to meet her and take pictures with her are causing her increasing anxiety. She mentioned that when she went to the cafeteria for lunch on her first day of the Olympics, she was surprised by the large number of athletes from other countries coming to take photos with her, which caused her stress and discomfort. Biles noted that she is now "stockpiling" food early in the day and then staying in her room in the Olympic village without going out. She previously mentioned that she struggles with severe mental health issues due to the pressures of gymnastics competition, which led her to withdraw from several events at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
