Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi stated on Tuesday that his government expressed the country's constants regarding the Palestinian issue, especially concerning the Gaza Strip, emphasizing that this issue will remain "present in the Egyptian national conscience." He firmly rejected any attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause.
Sisi wrote on his official account on the platform "X" (formerly Twitter): "I closely followed the developments of the statement made by the Prime Minister before the House of Representatives, during which he expressed the state's constants regarding Egyptian national security and the Palestinian issue, which remains in the national conscience of the state and the people."
He added: "I affirm the continuation of the state, with all its agencies and institutions, in providing the necessary support for the Palestinian cause at all levels, firmly rejecting any attempts to liquidate it, and calling on all active parties to raise their voices for wisdom and activate the relevant international resolutions."
Earlier today, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly delivered a statement before the Egyptian Parliament regarding his government's efforts to support the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, who have been facing an Israeli war for 46 days.
