New Video of Hostages Being Taken in October 7 Attack

A video obtained by Israeli media on Monday shows Hamas fighters escorting three Israeli hostages toward Gaza on October 7. According to the "Times of Israel," the video was received from the families of the hostages. The footage shows the hostages Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Or Levy, and Eliya Cohen being led to a small truck, with visible signs of blood on them, before the truck departs for Gaza on a one-lane road.

This video is the third in a series shared sequentially, depicting events from the morning of October 7. The families of hostages Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Eliya Cohen, and Or Levy released the video of their capture on October 7, which pressures Netanyahu to agree to a ceasefire deal that could bring their loved ones back home.

Earlier parts of the video shared months ago showed Palestinian faction fighters throwing grenades at a shelter that housed around 29 people, where Goldberg-Polin, Cohen, and Levy were present. The second part, previously published, showed Goldberg-Polin being led by Hamas fighters to a small truck, clutching his arm that was wrapped in a bandage at the elbow. The third part released on Monday is two minutes long, with some parts blurred at the families' request.

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum stated, "The video is a strong condemnation of the abandonment of the hostages, which has lasted for 262 days." Israel claims that the Hamas attack on October 7 resulted in the deaths of 1,200 Israelis and the captivity of around 250 hostages, of whom 120 remain alive or deceased.
