The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the violations and crimes committed by Israeli forces, the latest being the raid on Balata Camp east of Nablus, which resulted in the martyrdom of three citizens and several wounded, including one in serious condition. The ministry stated in a press release on Monday that "these crimes committed by Israeli forces are an integral part of the daily killing spree against our people, with the cover and approval of the Israeli political level."
The Foreign Ministry held "the Israeli government fully and directly responsible for these crimes," calling on "the international community to provide international protection for our people." The ministry will follow up on this heinous crime with the International Criminal Court, demanding the prosecutor to break her silence and fulfill her responsibilities by speeding up her investigations without hesitation, leading to the accountability and prosecution of the criminals.
Abu Rdeineh: Balata Massacre is Continuation of Comprehensive War
The official spokesman for the presidency, Nabil Abu Rdeineh, stated that the events in Balata Camp early on Monday, which resulted in the martyrdom of several citizens and the injury of others by Israeli army fire, represent a real massacre and are a continuation of the comprehensive war against the Palestinian people. He pointed out that "the silence of the American administration on these crimes has emboldened the Israeli army to continue its aggression," asking it for "immediate intervention to stop the Israeli madness, which will lead the region towards explosion."
Fatah Mourns Its Martyrs
The Palestinian National Liberation Movement "Fatah" mourned its three martyrs in a statement issued by the Commission of Media, Culture, and Intellectual Mobilization, names including: Muhammad Zaytoun, Fathi Rizq, and Abdullah Abu Hamdan. They considered that "this crime expresses the bloody approach of the extremist Israeli government, which practices the most severe policies of terrorism and violence against our people." Fatah called on the international community for immediate intervention, affirming that "the prevailing international silence gives the occupation the pretext to continue its crimes against our people."
The Palestinian Health Ministry stated in a release that "Israeli forces killed three Palestinians by gunfire in the Balata refugee camp in the occupied West Bank in the early hours of Monday." No immediate confirmation has been issued by the Israeli army.
The official Palestinian news agency reported today that "Israeli forces raided the Balata refugee camp in Nablus accompanied by bulldozers and military vehicles, preventing ambulances from entering the camp."
