The Syrian Civil Aviation Authority confirmed that there will be no changes or modifications to the arrival or departure times of flights at all Syrian airports, amid the escalating situation expected in the region. The Director General of the Authority, Bassem Mansour, stated to the official Syrian news agency "SANA" that "all rumors about the suspension or cancellation of flights to and from civil airports are unfounded." He added: "With the exception of the postponement of the Damascus-Dubai-Damascus flight scheduled for today by Syrian Airlines, which was delayed for operational and technical reasons only." He noted that all Syrian civil airports are operating 24 hours a day as usual, managing air traffic including arrivals, departures, and transit, urging the public to seek accurate and reliable information only from official sources and not to be swayed by rumors and misleading news.
