The administrative committee of Hekmeh Sports Club - Beirut thanked all the players of the basketball team, as well as the coaching, administrative, and medical staff for the outstanding season they provided in the Lebanese Championship, "despite the limited budget with which they faced other teams whose budgets were multiples of the funding secured for our team."
The committee also expressed gratitude to the backbone of the club and its teams, namely the "wonderful large audience that has proven to be a significant player in Lebanese, Arab, and Asian basketball, for their enthusiasm and strong love for their club, and for the civilized support shown in all the team's matches, presenting an elevated image of Hekmeh Club and its affiliated institutions, proving that there is no life in the arenas without them, as confirmed by other team administrations."
The committee thanked the president and members of the fan association for their tremendous efforts to highlight the fans' passion for the green club, especially the ULTRAS group, which added a special flavor to the cheering and spread its enthusiasm to other teams.
The administrative committee noted that following the numerous contacts from fans and supporters both in Lebanon and abroad since the end of the club's matches in the Lebanese basketball championship, inquiring about how they could help and stand by the club, it confirmed that it has begun taking bold and new steps to support the club by opening donation channels for those wishing to contribute in Lebanon and abroad via the club's account with OMT or through the PATREON program, which offers its members many incentives and advantages.
The committee announced that Hekmeh Sports Club - Beirut has met the licensing criteria for Asian football clubs, and the Asian Football Confederation, through the Lebanese Football Federation, has granted it a license for the 2023-2024 sports season after meeting all required administrative and financial criteria with complete transparency.
The administrative committee requested the club's audience to prepare to support the club's teams in the upcoming season and to follow news about the club and its teams through its official pages on social media or through Sagesse TV, urging them not to be swayed by news from those who do not believe that the club is on the path to transforming into a true institution.
The committee affirmed that the club's journey, which began after independence, has been long, bright, and occasionally challenging, "but the train toward the desired goals is now on the right track and is closer than ever to reaching where the club and its teams should be."
