During a press conference at the National Library, Nora Jumblatt, the head of the Beit Dinh Festivals Committee, announced the start of the Summer 2023 program for its 40th year. The conference was attended by the ministers of culture, media, and tourism in the caretaker government: Judge Mohammad Wissam Mortada, Engineer Ziad Makari, and Walid Nassar, along with cultural bodies, local and international media, and participating artists to announce the Summer 2023 program.
Jumblatt unveiled the festival program, which runs from July 20 to August 5, emphasizing Lebanon's cultural and artistic role through creative young artists, some of whom were present at the announcement. The festival will open on July 20 with the award-winning Egyptian-French mezzo-soprano Farah Debany, featuring a program prepared specifically for Beit Dinh, which includes a selection of classical melodies as well as songs from renowned Arab stars such as Fairuz, Asmahan, and Dalida.
The program includes:
- **July 22:** The first section with the "Chicuelo" group, followed by Guy Manoukian and his musical band.
- **July 25:** A jazz night featuring prominent jazz musicians in Lebanon, including composer and bassist Donna Khalifa and her band, followed by pianist and composer Arthur Satyan and his group.
- **July 27:** Live performance by Maisa Qara in Beit Dinh.
- **August 2, 3, and 5:** The Arabic show "Chicago the Musical."
